Tuesday Seizure - update

Wednesday 7/26 -2pm update

Last night Julia suffered a seizure  at home. The week & day were going well! I was ready to send an update for this week treatment, but around 7:30pm, she crawled into my arms said she was sleepy. A minutes later I asked my oldest Geo to confirm she fell sleep, as I’m holding her can’t see her face, she was just very limp in my arms. Geo said she looks like she’s asleep but her eyes were open, eye balls fixed towards the left without any move. Not normal!

Immediately I was on the phone calling PEDs floor to contact her Oncologist, while my husband was calling 911. Paramedics arrived within 7 minutes, 3 minutes later it was confirmed she was having a seizure. They administer medication to help the seizure stop. 5 minutes later we were in route to the hospital, as the condition was critical, they could not take us directly to our home hospital in Anaheim, so they took us to the closest at CHOC. By the time we arrived to the ER Julia was stable & lightly sedated.

Pediatric doctor came to assest the situation & tell us  the run down of what needs to happen. They ran blood test, chest x-rays, CT, urine/feces testing. Our oncologist got a hold of the hospital and gave a brief about our little. By 3:am important testings started to roll in all came back clear with no urgent matters as brain bleed or stroke, these were ruled out🙏🏼Thank you Jesus, nothing short than God’s hand of protection of juju's brain🙏🏼

By 4:am we were been transferred to our home hospital - picture above you can see Julia was alert and very much back to herself💕

We got to our hospital at 4:30am. By 8:30 she was having an MRI. Her Oncologist came to see her not long ago this afternoon & briefed us on the situation, all results have come back clear. Seems that the culprit of this seizure was the lumbar puncture chemotherapy she's had last week, not confirmed but likely to be the reason. Julia's doctor is seeking a Neurologist image specialist to study her CT & MRI - an EEGof her brain is ordered for tomorrow Thursday at 9:am, they want to wake her up at 3:am to keep her awake and have her be restless for better testing results!

Please pray for this testing EEG, Julia to collaborate & everything to be capture that needs to be capture for favorable results that show her brain is intact and no other issues hidden anywhere 🙏🏼💕

This experience was really hard! But I felt Gods assurance and confidence that her brain will be intact, prayed boldly in Jesus name, and never had I felt His presence during Julia's journey as I felt last night, to not be afraid! My little sunshine is not mine, is HIS! God is with Julia and Jesus is her and our Victor. We will trust in Him.
