Praise report;

  • Julia continues to have good bowl movements

  • We have 2 blood cultures that came back negative for blood bacteria growth (need 1 more negatives to go home)

  • No new fevers since Friday morning

  • She is eating like a champion, specially French toasts with syrup, morning & night

Prayer Request;

  • We need 1 more negative cultures so that we can take her home. She wants to go home

  • Tomorrow we start Week 3 of treatment hybrid at hospital & clinic.  Physical strength to withstand (Chemotherapy)

  • Continue good appetite after tomorrow, since she will be done with one medication that makes her hungry.

  • Julia’s physical strength, wisdom to keep her moving little steps at a time. Her legs are very weak.

Thank you dear family in Christ! For your faithfulness remembering our little sunshine Julia in your prayers. Means the world to us at this moment!

Reflection

I’ve been thinking a lot about God’s righteous man Job! Earlier this year I got to go through  verse by verse in this book of the Bible a verse that keeps coming back to my mind right now as I meditate in Him and try to hear His voice, and process some circumstantial conversations leaving me feeling like I should not accept this lot!  We see here Job’s wife telling him to just curse God and die, his response truly inspire me to silence those voices of discouragement, instead give Thanks to God even now;

“But Job replied, “You talk like a foolish woman. Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?” So in all this, Job said nothing wrong.”

‭‭Job‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Should we only extend our hand to receive good things from God? Why should we? As it says in His words it rains on the poor and on the rich, why should I be an exception? Anything hard we go through is for God’s  Glory! His word has so many precious examples of the victory He gives His people, we are His people. Both my husband and I feel like a roller coaster at moments we are in a high peak Thanking  God  for everything big & small that has happened, and we also have moments when we are in the drop down lows where we can’t believe we are here, it feels like a bad dream, yet in the low moments we also Thanking God for the strength and hope we have in Him. Without Christ in our minds and hearts we would be devastated with no hope.

But praise be to Jesus for in Him we have hope that our Julia will beat this giant!

Love you all dear family, and giving thanks for you and every prayer reaching the footstool of our Father in Heaven!

In God we Trust!
