Monday 9/18 update - 11am

Hello family, Julia had a fantastic week. God truly blessed us, He answered our prayers and we could not have asked for a more perfect time. You know juju is doing great when she’s changing dresses multiple times a day, asking for momma’s pancakes & cafesito everyday and taking selfies & asking to FaceTime auntie Lusett. We are thankful to Jesus and thankful for all your loving faithful prayers throughout this treatment.

Today is ‘Interim Maintenance ‘ start day! Sending this update after getting her numbers this morning and confirming, Yes!!her treatment is a green light.

We will be admitted to the hospital shortly, start the hydration/PH check, and 24hr. High dose chemotherapy will start at 5pm for the next 24 hours.

Appreciate your prayers for smooth process, no complications, chemotherapy to do what is supposed to do, minimal side effects, for this medication to be metabolized fast through her body and be flushed fully. Julia to remain strong physically & emotionally throughout this phase.

We are beyond thankful for our church family. Last minute I requested a visit from a minister from our church, with no advance notice. Our church pastor made time to come and pray for our Julia as she enters this next phase! Thank you Pastor Bill & Joy for your time and flexibility, even after teaching 4 services in 24hrs, he made time to attend the needs of his flock. To God be all Glory! We are Inspired, encouraged & filled with hope.

You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord.
