Tuesday, January 9th update - 9pm
This past week Julia has been having lots of Rest, Relax & time to Recover. She has not been her usual self, when she's not dressing up multiple times a day that tells you, something is up. She's complaint some of stomach & back pain, but eating lots due to the steroids, she's been wanting lots of cuddles. She enjoyed a couple of walks around the block with dad, but wiped out shortly after.
Last week we had a follow up visit with her eye doctor, he gave the clear on what he can see in the eye, nothing of concern. Recommended daily eye drops and hot compress. Also lower her glasses prescription to get her back unto them, since August she's refused to wear them consistently. Next week we will address the neurologist MRI report and follow up about the cyst.
This is week 4 of Delay Intensification phase, is a rest week! No meds. We had clinic day this morning to check her blood numbers, and they came back very good, they are maintaining. Next week she has a new round of different chemos and her body needs all the recovery possible.
Thanks for your faithful prayers, if you join me praying for our Julia to continue to get stronger this week, restful sleep, relief from aches & pains she's been feeling.
Every year as long as I remember in my adult life I've written a year recap & new year vision/family plans, this year I was just empty, nothing in my head, taking one day at a time. But there's this little trend/fun play I've taught juju, every time we drive to the clinic, we see the huge Anaheim train station and we say 'goodbye train station when we get better we will go places' and we name a few like San Clemente pier or LA union station. As we pass the Honda center, 'good bye Honda center when we get better we will go see Disney on Ice', now juju favorite as of late 'Lilo & Stitch'. On the other side coming back 'good bye Angel stadium when we get better we will go see a baseball game and eat hotdogs and cola', 'good bye billboard of the Trolls movie when we get better we will go to the movie theatre', etc. you get my point! So I think that counts as making plans, right! God is so good sending me reminders that this seasonal, this will pass and we will continue to give all glory and honor to God, for his faithfulness & keeping power sustaining us through this season. These reminders are like kisses from God opening my eyes & giving me hope for the future. Jesus peaceful presence always at hand, His Holy Spirit right with me helping us, your prayers & encouragement are like a breath of fresh air. Thank you for reading these updates, and holding our precious Julia in prayer. Thank you with all of my heart!
I'm reading through the New Testament in a year with our church! We started in the book of Mark, 1 chapter a day. I've been so inspired & filled with hope reading through Jesus ministry. If you like to get the plan send me a message I'll share a picture of this so that you can join. I needed to be reminded of the importance to be reading through the gospels! Is hard to pick one verse, Mark has always been my favorite gospel. The faith of this afflicted women in chap. 5 truly has ministers to me, a women suffering for 12 years of a hemorrhage issue, she was healed just by touching the hem of Jesus garment.
”For she thought, “If I just touch His clothing, I will get well.” Immediately her flow of blood was dried up; and she felt in her body [and knew without any doubt] that she was healed of her suffering.“
Mark 5:28-29 AMP
Our hope is in the Lord!

Love you friend! Will continue to pray for Julia’s recovery and strength and full complete healing in Jesus name! Next year, all the plans coming to pass must include watching trolls with Joshie! It is his favorite right now. He’s seen it about 7 times.
