Julia is recovering really well! last recorded fever was Saturday night. Sunday we went back to the ER for a 2nd round of antibiotics and port de-access.
She tested positive for Rhinovirus, a single-stranded RNA virus that is the most common cause of the common cold. While most rhinoviruses cause either no symptoms or mild symptoms, they can lead to severe complications in individuals with weakened immune systems. Julia exhibited all of the typical symptoms and required antibiotic treatment. Her oncologist prescribed a broad-spectrum antibiotic, which provided near-immediate relief. We are very grateful that her fevers subsided within 12 hours of starting the antibiotics.
She slept around 14 hours yesterday and is starting to eat a little, though she's experiencing some diarrhea as a side effect of the antibiotics. Despite this, she is in good spirits. We truly appreciate your prayers.

Precious little angel of God! Julia, you are such a fighter. I want you to know you have prayers coming out of Texas and that you are on our minds and hearts. Love to you and your very strong and vigilant family.

Father, I pray for sweet little Julia, that you would hold her close to your heart and protect her. Thank you for helping her recover quickly from this virus. Please give her renewed faith and strength to continue in her battle. We pray for your perfect and complete healing even today!
Please bless her family, and revive them also as they put their hope and trust in You.
