Monday 11/27 update - 11pm
"A picture is worth a thousand words" by NB. Hello family, Julia made counts today and she has officially started her last 24hrs. high dose chemo. Juju has been in wonderful spirits, you can tell by her expressions. She's helped us decorate our home for Christmas. She hasn't had any chemo or other meds for over 4 weeks, even her hair started to grow back a little.
I received a few encouraging messages that no doubt were kisses from God, filled with wisdom, peace, and insight. Even the guest speaker at our church was incredible. It was all so timely and filled with truths. Thank you for your wonderful prayers, for your love demonstrated in intersession for our little sunshine. I'm humble, in awe, and filled with gratitude to know you are following juju’s updates and praying for her.
The plan for this week is:
chemo will be completed at 6pm tomorrow and Julia needs to hit some marks to be considered cleared by Wednesday
she is back on a daily oral chemo (necessary, but this tiny dose is potent and usually the culprit to her numbers to drop), she is also getting a cardiogram study to determine if she qualifies for one of the needed meds in the next phase.
Expecting ALL to go well and to head home by Thursday evening. Thanks for joining us in prayer for our little sunshine this week; primarily for her body to continue to be strong through this round & clear from toxicity efficiently.
I've been working with juju on memorizing scripture. She almost got it, a few more weeks and I think she will be reciting the verse below perfectly!
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.”
Psalms 107:1 NLT
Julia has so much joy in her bones, it’s inspiring. I'm beyond thankful for her life and the lessons she is teaching us at home. My older kids are often blown away often by juju's tenacity. One of her nurses today said something super sweet, "oh! juju, you have all of us wrapped around your little fingers". She has really formed a beautiful bond with her nurses. Glory to God…even on a bad day, she bounces almost immediately and is so much fun & personable to anyone that comes across her path, even strangers! Only Jesus and all of His goodness gives juju her sweet personality. Don't get me wrong, she is also bossy and persistent, and strong in every sense.
Our hope is in the Lord!
The joy! She insisted on getting her foot in the picture and is laughing uncontrollably. It was hard to get a still shot! Thanksgiving Day...

Hello!

Game attire! Yes, PJ's are her favorite daily wear if she's not in a princess dress

Praying for Julia, and for your family.
Lots of love.

Continuing to pray for Juju and for your family! 🙏🙏💕
Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
— Psalms 116:7
Good luck in everything this week. Blessings
