Thursday, February 8th - 6 am

Julia made it through the weekend. Monday we went in for labs, and by God's grace, she was hanging at the edge of bottom numbers. She was able to push through until yesterday Wednesday's clinic, when her numbers hit bottom. Yesterday she was supposed to start week 7 with two scheduled chemotherapies, instead, she got all the blood products she needed to help her boost her body numbers and stabilize her, and it was all timely perfectly. Today Thursday we will be back in the clinic to officially start week 7 chemotherapies, and also our waited Neurologist appointment🙏🏼

I don't get tired of saying, is the goodness of God displaying His strength through our little princess warrior Julia! She has been low in hemoglobin(red blood cells), low platelets, low immunity, taking oral chemo, getting 8 rounds of IV chemos in the last two weeks and unless you see her bald little head you would not be able to tell she's sick! Her energy & spirit have been soaring. In my heart, I know it's all the hand of God watching & strengthening our little juju, giving her so much sweetness even through these heavy battle days in this phase.

We had the most beautiful morning drive today as you can see in the picture above, the mountains were covered in snow with the sun shining above the clouds into the mountain tops, juju blowing kisses at the beautiful scenery & she said she saw Elsa(Frozen). As soon as she got home yesterday, she ran to dress up as Elsa. She got to enjoy jumping in the muddy puddles after the heavy rains we got this week. As she was getting her chest port access in the morning, she started singing through the access 'Let me go, let me go...' She had the fresh memory of Elsa's frozen song in her mind, with her little twist, Let me go instead of Let it go... cute.

Thank you dear family for your prayers & interceding for our little sunshine, always giving thanks to God for You. This week we appreciate it if you pray that Julia metabolizes all these chemotherapies swiftly out of her body, for all these toxins to be washed away, for her bone marrow to work hard and produce the cells her body needs to recover, for nausea & viruses to stay at bay, neurology appointment tomorrow, clarity & God's wisdom to speak all the details & ask the necessary questions.

”For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.“

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭100‬:‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Our hope is in the Lord!

Yes, that is an actual grumpy face! Yet squishable cheeks & thankful for whomever donated that blood!

By the time she got to the platelets, she was sound asleep & enjoyed a mid afternoon 3 hr. Nap... it was a perfect day!

Came home straight to dress up! 👸🏻❄️
