Tuesday 12/26 update - 10pm
I hope you all had the most wonderful Christmas! We spent all day in PJ's, it was definitely very quiet at our home. We enjoyed the calm, quietness and ate tamales, sweet bread & chocolates all day! The culmination of the Advent calendar with Juju inspires me to keep on teaching more about Jesus. She can retell the nativity story & knows the main characters in this beautiful event. We had a few window visits from family members. Happy to see their faces, yet a little sad we couldn't mingle or embrace.
Julia has been doing well. She had a 1hr. chemo last Thursday. She was in steroids for a week, and today she took two chemos and meds infusion like a champion. There is a concern we are having about a potential toxicity level she might be experiencing. It's an on & off thing she's doing. One of the doctors at the office today said it could be one chemo she received last week, yet there's no plan to figure it out more than just observing and comparing to next week's treatment. There is a test to measure toxicity...we should had requested it today! I will be calling tomorrow.
Thanks for your time and prayers. I can't begin to tell you how comforting it is to know that you are praying and interceding for my little sunshine, thank you!
Kindly help us to continue to pray for Julia's physical strength, for this concern we have to fade away in the next few days and her body to metabolize these toxic treatments out of her body speedily. Pray for healing sleep, protection from any viral infections as her numbers start to decline and for us to have wisdom to ask the right questions and advocate for our little.
