Lovely & Week 6

Monday 8/14 - 7am update

Lovely! Is the word to describe this past week. No set backs, Julia had very mild side effects,  she was able to push & fight. She almost hit a very low Saturday morning, but God answering prayers and showing His mighty hand helped our little sunshine push through. We ended our week by going out to eat together as a family at a public place👀 in a far outside corner of a restaurant and it was PERFECT! so thankful for this time.

We experienced a flawless week; we administered Julia’s chemo via IV at home for three days, removing her port needle successfully, huge WIN! Juju taking her oral chemotherapy like a champ (7+ days🙏🏼) she had good bowels, appetite was low, but the new trend to get her to eat is tea party/picnic outside under the umbrella.

This morning we will be headed to the clinic to start week 6 of 8 in this intensification phase, it will be a mirror treatment to last week. We expect her numbers to start dropping, that’s what these chemos do, deplete & re-start her bone marrow.

Prayer request:

• Julia to continue to have strength to fight through the lows; mainly nausea, vomiting, weakness & low appetite.

• Protection of her body from any viruses, bacteria’s & infections.

• Blood products to be ready available, due to her Coombs, takes longer to make for her.

• God’s wisdom & patience for the nurses & doctor managing her care.

• God to continue to minister to juju & us His joy, peace, patience & understanding.

• Another 'lovely week' 🙏🏼💕

Dear family, again & again your time  reading these updates and interceding in prayer in behalf our little sunshine has meant everything to us, Thank you!!! We’ve seen prayers answered, miracles happened, hearts stirred towards closeness with God, generous charity, faith built up, courage & hope! God is Good & His people and our community are beyond beautiful.  I am inspired, encourage & filled with hope!
