Let’s go home, please!

Update - Tuesday 6/6 - 10 PM

Yesterday we received a 3rd negative blood culture, we thought we were going home. But, Julia’s blood count numbers were very low and we ended having to stay another night past Tuesday for blood transfusion and Platelets.

it Is now late in the evening at the hospital. Tomorrow Wednesday will be a long day as well due to Chemotherapy. In an effort to reduce Julia's back and forth her Doctor decided to keep us overnight. Julia is doing better and staying has been very comforting for her. Because, we are not traveling to home and then back to the hospital at 6:45 am.

Bigger than all of this, we know there are no coincidences with God! We just found out a few minutes ago her potassium level is dangerously low, making her heart work extra hard! We see God is in control of every move! Thankful we stayed one more night under medical care, now this issue will be address over night.

Praise Report;

• We got the 3 negative blood culture tests

• She continues to have good appetite

• Julia’s liver and spline are returning to their normal size.

• Good bowl movements continues

Prayer Request;

• Her bone marrow to RESTART, to start creating good red blood cells and platelets - we saw it created a 1k platelets Friday a week ago. After chemotherapy it basically wipes the progress. We need her bone marrow to show the treatment is working, we need the miracle hand of God to touch and heal.

• Julia’s potassium & phosphates levels are very low right now -  pray for levels to normalize. She’ll be getting infusions of these two tonight, May her body metabolize them well.

• She has a small mouth sore inside her cheek, which will be treated with a topical ointment to remove pain.

• Two planned chemotherapy treatments for Wednesday 6/7/23 - that these will target any malignant cell left hidden in her blood, her body to react well in this 3rd week. Physical strength

Thank you so much for remembering our little sunshine Julia in your prayers. We are beyond grateful for each of you that have lifted a prayer. We feel God’s peace and comfort in this season. We know He is present and to Him will be all Glory!
