IM Phase - week 2

Wednesday 9/27 - 9pm update

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.”

This Bible verse talks about characteristics of a Virtuous woman, not a baby juju’s size. But, I often look at Julia and am inspired by her strength & laughter. She knows she’s not well, but her joy is contagious. She often says “when I get better we’ll go the park, we will go to the zoo, we will go to Disney, we’ll go to auntie Lusett (Hawaii), we will go on the train, we will go to church”… I just love her and she truly keeps me on my toes. Looking forward to the future.

Julia is doing wonderful in this week 2 of IM (Interim Maintenance). She is eating, sleeping, changing dresses multiple…times a day. Thanks dear family for thinking of juju and keeping her and our family in your prayers. I’m so grateful you are walking with us through this journey.

Tomorrow we are in clinic for blood work. I would appreciate your prayers for Julia to be at ease getting her port accessed, for blood to flow, the results to return with good report, and for Julia to continue to have a great rest of her week before her next 24hr. Chemo next week. Thank you ❤️

Just a surface pic of all that she went through this last week as they tried to access her port multiple time - the bottom and sides looked worse. God did a miracle, we are so thankful and she's healing beautifully.
