Friday 10/6 - 12am update

God answered our prayers! In a big miraculous way! Nothing short of His mighty hand moving the mountains to come to the rescue of His children.

Around 4pm we received word Julia’s blood was ready & available for infusion, fastest record time ever in less than 24hrs. All we needed now was for the chemo toxicity level to come back clear in order to start her infusion. If you like to learn more about why juju’s blood is special read blog from July 12, 2023. Thank you to all who reached out willing to go and donate blood specifically to help Julia, don’t have enough words of gratitude!

On top of this delicate issue, our health care is through Kaiser, I am sure you are aware several of their employees are in the largest healthcare strike in history. We had front row view from our room. The hospital had a skeleton team; no CNA’s, limited food services, no housekeeping, shortage of techs including those working at the blood bank.

Julia started her blood transfusion at 6pm, she slept through the majority of the process. Leaving the hospital was no fun, she was extremely irritated and upset! You could see her in the wagon above covered from head to toes in her prayer blanket 🙌🏼We are home now! Our little sunshine is back in her palace and already put on 3 different dresses.

Due to her numbers dropping, her Oncologist has suspended the Oral chemo until next week after her clinic visit. Appreciate your prayers for Julia’s body to recover this week, that she will get physically stronger, minimal side effects this week from the HD chemo and that she enjoys the pause of Meds.

God is Faithful and His works are undeniable! I’m filled with a grateful heart. Thank you dear sweet family for you prayers , kindness and encouragement! Is my prayer God blesses you mightily.
