Happy New Year - W3 DI

Tuesday 1/3 update - 7am

Happy New Year family! Julia has been doing wonderful, keeping a great appetite, very playful and wanting to do lots of homework. She's loving our daily interactive (Bible for Kids app) devotionals and the cutest of all things she's developed deep interest in doing my Duo linguo french lessons, you'll often hear her say 'bon appetite' or 'mercy beaucoup' at any given moment, is funny & cute!

The day after we were released from the hospital last week we received a follow up call from her Oncologist, she had sent the MRI to a Neurologist to take a closer look . The doctor updated us that there is a small cyst behind Julia's right eye that seems to have grown from her last MRI. She is consulting juju's ophthalmologist as we had seen him 4 weeks ago and doing some investigating work, we will know more soon.

This week we enter week 3 of 8 in the Delay Intensification phase - today she's getting two infusion chemotherapies & starting another week of steroids.

We appreciate your time and prayers for our little sunshine. I am praying for Julia to keep fighting strong this week, as her blood numbers have started to trend down, pray for her protection from any virus/bacterias as her immune system continues to drop, for nausea side effects to be at bay, and for this new MRI findings, praying against any further growth affecting her vision or any part of her brain, we need divine intervention, God is able! Always praying wisdom for her medical team and for us to continue to experience God's peace and confidence.

Thanks dear family! May God's daily strength, love, peace, joy, hope, courage guide you continually through the fresh start of this new year. May you be blessed above all you can think or imagine. Jesus is so Good! His plans for us are perfect, He wastes nothing and to Him be all glory forever and ever.
