'Great & Beautiful' - CD 425d EOT

Hi family,

We were scheduled for clinic last Monday, but got bumped to today, Friday. Julia had a lumbar puncture with chemo under sedation. Her hemoglobin & platelets were good, but her ANC (defense against infections) was low, delaying her oral chemo restart. We'll check her ANC next week before restarting meds. She also had treatment for an ear infection today. This week we need to keep her away from crowds, please pray for her body to rest & build her immunity back up.

Overall, she feels great and looks beautiful! That picture above brings me so much joy, her skin color's returning, her hair's growing back in a cute pixie style (though maybe no more spiral curls!). She's been mistaken for a boy a few times, despite being in pink, but it's all part of God's plan as It gives me an opportunity to share God's faithfulness.

Thank you for your prayers for Julia. Today showed God's faithfulness. Her bravery with port access and de-access was a big deal after a tough ER experience in June. This is an answered prayer!
