Good Days & Week 5 IM II

Tuesday 4/9 - 11pm

Julia made it 10 days without any treatments! We had clinic day yesterday Monday and our little warrior went fasting until noon as she was scheduled for a lumbar puncture chemo, received 2 additional IV chemos, a prolific med infusion, and a blood transfusion as she was very low on her red blood cell count. It was not an easy morning as she was hangry & aching from the low blood. How much can a little body take? It all blows my mind as I see our good God giving her so much strength to fight and she continues to be her beautiful self! Only God's keeping power.

Thank you so much for your selflessness in remembering Julia in your prayers. I have felt so much peace, comfort, and hope. Seeing Juju stand in her little spirit, having been favored by our angel nurses, and see her physically pull through a heavy treatment day, only fuels my heart with gratitude to God and for my tribe here interceding for my sweet baby girl, thanks family.

If you can join me in praying for Juju this week, she might have a digestive issue as she was on for a very long period on the oral meds, which might have depleted the good bacteria/flora in her intestines and now she's having some diarrhea since Friday. Praying her body can fight through on its own, recover, and not turn to something like CDiff. She is scheduled for blood work this coming Friday, may her numbers stay above showing bone marrow stability & good cell reproduction, else there is potential blood or platelets transfusion on Friday if these continue to drop, which is very likely as she just got 3 chemos yesterday. God's strength and protection over Julia. Thank you for your prayers family.

Good Days! We had a full week of celebrations; Easter & juju learned to ride her bike, our son Miguel turned 20 (he's the middle child - 15 years apart from Juju), and our oldest Geo had her college senior short film thesis screening, very proud of this girl and her hard work through college. Lots of celebrations this past week.

”He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end.“

‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3‬:‭11‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Easter Day fun!
