Friday 7/28 - 12am update

Thanks everyone your prayers were heard & the Lord answered!
Today has been a long day. By doctor’s orders we needed to wake up Julia at 3AM so that she would be sleep deprived for her EEG test at 9am. Our Juju is a trooper, she woke up willingly, spent a long early morning doing crafts, sipping decaf coffee (yes she drinks decaf) 🙈, watching the sunrise, and amusing over the ecosystem outside our hospital window (FYI spider season).
Julia fought the technician doing the test through the whole prepping process (scalp glue, situating the plugs, wrapping of her head, & the removal of it all). Once she was all prepped and the test started she fell asleep almost instantly, which is exactly what needed to happen for a perfect exam🙌🏼.
EEG - the purpose of this test was to look for seizure activity in any part of her brain in a relaxed state. Test Results came in @4 PM.
EEG came back 100% clear - there is NO residual part of her brain sustaining any seizure/abnormal activity. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord for His faithfulness.
Also, the Neurologist that reviewed the CT scan & MRI gave 100% clearance, her brain is clear and no type of brain damage occurred during this seizure episode.
We will be released from the hospital today, Friday. She will receive an IV chemotheraphy late at afternoon, and we will be released.
There’s no parental roadmap to know what is next. We rely on God’s strength & wisdom to help us understand and advocate for our precious sunshine! I can’t tell you enough how thankful we are for your prayers. Even in this uncertain dark moment, I have no shadow of a doubt of His amazing love & grace.
I was so confident as I held my baby’s limp body, unresponsive, that it was Jesus protecting her brain & her body. Thankful for the faith that anchors my soul, thankful for today, we still have a long road ahead and we need you in our battalion, interceding for our little sunshine. Thanks dear family!

Great news! Thank you, Jesus!! Hallelujah over and over again! I can't imagine what your family are going through during this hard and painful times. Praying continually for Juju and the whole family. We are team Julia with Jesus!!
