Delay in Week 5 - DI

Wednesday, January 17th - 11pm

Our little sunshine has been doing well this week. This week she's been into ballerina stuff more than usual, could be because she watched the movie 'Leap', and keeps replaying the 'Confident' ballerina battle song on YouTube. It's too cute to describe her choreography, all I can say is that it's catchy & very funny.

Today we had clinic day (week 5 in her delayed intensification treatment) but Julia didn't make count. Her ANC (defense/Immune system) is low, she's neutropenic and needs to be kept in a bubble at home this week, away from any potential illnesses. So more rest & recovery are in order for this week.

We have been referred to a Neurologist, and there is a pending assessment. Her Dr. wants to assure there is nothing that she could be missing related to neurotoxicity.

Thanks for your time and continued prayers for our little one, I am confident in God's protection, presence and provision. I know He delights when we incline our attention & devotion to Him. So grateful for your love and prayers, means the world to me.

If you can help me pray for Julia this week for her to remain strong, for her immunity to rise and be protected from any viruses/infections. For her sleep to be restful and peaceful. For the neurologist assessment to be clear & precise.

I'm going through the New Testament in the book of Mark, and the stories of parents seeking Jesus to heal & deliver their little ones stood out to me this time around. It ministers to me the incredible compassion and power of Jesus. God never changes, He is the same from yesterday, today & tomorrow! These passages have encouraged me to keep praying for my kids and others, regardless of the interruptions, delays, wait, and at times discouragement. It's wonderful & comforting to know this is the same God/Lord we love, worship and pray to.

Mark 5:21-24, 35-43 - Jairus came to Jesus asking to heal his 12yr. old daughter.

Mark 7:24-30 - A gentile women comes to the feet of Jesus asking Him to deliver her daughter.

Mark 9:18-29 - a Dad in the crowd brought his son for deliverance of a mute spirit.

Thankful for the Word of God. An anchor to my soul.

”Overhearing what was being said, Jesus said to the synagogue official, “Do not be afraid; only keep on believing [in Me and my power].”“

‭‭Mark‬ ‭5‬:‭36‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Our hope is in the Lord!
